This year our beloved Rinko-sensei has decided to branch out in her exploration of new genres and artistic styles in a new collective work with colleagues and fellow-artists called “Speculative Relationships: A Sci-fi Romance Comics Anthology.” Rinko’s contribution entitled, “The Same Moon” explores the romantic entanglements between her protagonist from a distant world, and her earthling companion. The anthology editors Tyrell Cannon (Gary, Victus) and Scott Kroll (A Cramped, Well-Pressurized Space) were eager to include Rinko’s artwork in their project, and worked long and hard make this publication an overwhelming success.
